App usage with FP+

I haven't seen much lately on using the smart phone app to change FP+. Heard earlier it was too slow, kept crashing, etc. Has service improved?
 
The problem is the wifi not the app. It worked great when I used my data plan. I couldn't even connect most of the time on wifi.
 
I used it in September on smartphone app with data (not wifi) and it worked fine...I think phone, service provider, date package and such is also a factor...
 
Had no problems making the changes on my phone, but I never bothered with the wi-fi. Just used the data network.

Just a wifi problem for us, especially in MK. It worked great at our resort.

I'll stick to my data plan then. I saw where Disney swapped contracts from Verizon to ATT. ATT networks are traditionally slower and problematic. I expect Disney will have problems just as Apple did when ATT had exclusive contract for the IPhone.
 
I've always had issues in the park connecting to their wifi (I'm an ATT user) but our trip last week was probably the best service we have experienced. Supposedly Disney has been working with ATT to improve connection and we did notice an improvement. For example, I never had any service in The Land building and this time we had no issues. We changed our FP choices in MK and were able to access the app to see wait times and our FP+ times in all of the parks. Here's hoping the positive changes continue.
 
Our trip at the beginning of February was fine as far as using the app to update FP+. The only, maybe obvious, thing was DO NOT change FP selections by deleting them and trying to then make new FP selections from the app. Use the change experience/time selection! The first day we had some problems and had to go to the FP+ location to sort it out and by the time it was sorted out FP for the ride I really wanted were gone.
 
I do have verizon and only ever had problems with the wifi when in buildings but that is not abnormal, if I am shopping in most stores in my hometown I drop calls like crazy. I'm not a fan of verizon ;) but we are in contract until July at which point I will be dropping THEM.
