App swaps?

I saw the people have been able swap out the dessert for water or fruit. Has anyone been able to swap out an app? I was wondering if I would be able to swap out for side of mac and cheese or steamed vegetables for dd. I think she'll share most item I get, but on the occasional bad 2 yr old days, I'd gladly trade one of the 4 adult apps at the table for some mac and cheese or veggies to please a tired or grumpy toddler.

Are you on the deluxe plan? Because you don't get appetizers with the regular plan. I'm not sure I understand the question anyway. You could just order the items mentioned (if available) with your meal and give it to your 2 year old, right? And eat the appetizer yourself if you're on the deluxe plan.

On the DxDDP you will be able to have some flexibility in your apps.

I had an allergy issue that left me unable to eat any of the apps on the adult menu. The server was great and brought me a giant bowl of Mickey Mouse Chicken Noodle Soup for my adult appetizer. (The Mickey Soup was on the kids appetizer menu)

The servers at Disney are great - just let them know what you're trying to accomplish and they will help you as much as they can.

yes, we will be the deluxe plan. I was hoping to not have to pay oop for any of dd's meals since she might only eat a few bites of it. i am also taking my parents down so we will have 4 adult apps that probably will not get utilized fully, and i would hate to the food and money go to waste. we'd rather share 2-3 app and get a side of whatever is on the kids meal if that is dd is in the mood for the remainder of the app credits if possible.

Oh that is great to know! She loves chicken noodle soup! I will pay oop, but just find it to be wasteful if we are not going to use all the app credits anyway. She normally eats what we eat so I hope I dont need to utilize it, but after a long days and probably having to stop doing something fun to eat I was hoping comfort food may dull or prevent the terrible two tantrums.
