If you have APL dining, do they do the Animator's Pallet "show" on Saturday night or on Tuesday night?

Want to figure it out so I know when to schedule Palo. We have requested APL, though I know it is not guaranteed. Thanks.

I'm hoping to get APL also. If not, I'll change it with guest services. The great thing about this rotation is that Lumiere's falls on the formal & semi-formal nights. One of these nights I'll be doing Palo's instead though.

That way, it doesn't matter WHICH night AP does the show, I'll see it either way!! :D

I know you are going August 3rd- but are you doing first or second seating?? We're on second seating. Hopefully this cuts down on the "kiddie factor".

Hi fellow cruise buddies
I read in the forum that Animator's Pallet show will be on Saturday, the first night on-board. We are also hoping to get the APL rotation, but early seating due to the 6 kids in our party - all under age of 5.

MtDewBuzz....we are late seating. We always do late seating. We don't mind eating late on vacation. I am also hoping it will cut down on the "little kid" factor. We have a few smaller kids within our group but I think the majority of families with little kids like early seating.

We did APLAPLA (late seating) on the Western, and not only did it work out perfectly for the formal and semi-formal nights, but it also put us at Parrot Cay on Key West night...that's the restaurant we always skip for Palo, so we were up there at the perfect time and in the perfect spot to watch the gorgeous sunset!!
Just be aware that this is the rotation that most of the young kids start on. The noise level was higher, but we didn't mind (I even contributed by "playing" the water glasses and banging on the table with my spoons during the Small World parade), and it was so amusing to watch all the kids. There was one little toddler at a nearby table who we dubbed the "escape artist." Every night we were amused by his antics at trying to escape the confines of his booster chair. He made it a couple of times but didn't get very far before an adult swooped in for the capture!

Thanks Barb.....because of all your info and website we decided to request the APL rotation. I know it is never guaranteed, but I am hoping we get it. I love being in the Lumiere's on Formal night and PC on Tropical/Mexicali night.

I hadn't thought of the added bonus for Palos on Key West night!!!

On another note, someone said they did away with the 50's night on the Western....and are only going to have 70's and 80's nights...did you hear that also? How did the Magic crew stack up against the Wonder crew? We love the Magic cruise staff!!!
