APH RATE?

Yes.

Edit: I came back to qualify this answer...you haven't given any additional information, so the simple answer is 'yes', if you are booking and paying for all rooms. If you are asking if you can book a room for your family and another room for your neighbor's family, but you are only paying for yours, you are getting into gray waters.

I didn't know that! Thanks for the info! I am booking and paying for my brother's room when we go in October, so I'll be on the lookout for the APH rate for both of us now.

Thanks. My friend is travelling with us. To secure the ap rate I can book and pay for her room then.

Yes you can. I've done that for family members several times. You have to put a one night deposit down anyway so I would just pay for both and have them reimburse you. As wagman said, it could get a little iffy if they try to pay.

That's my plan. Now I have to just watch for and snag that ap rate!

You should take the first APH discount you find...that will, at least, secure you a room (or two). Keep checking for lower rates as you can always change to the lower rate (even if you have to cancel the original reservation and make a new one).

Thanks. This is what I always do. Last visit, I ended up changing to HRH last minute for a five hundred dollar savings over three nights. Well worth it. Booking the two rooms myself will ease that process as I won't have to coordinate with my friend. Just cancel and rebook.
