Does this have to be paid 45 days in advance or can it be paid upon checkin?

45 days out-just like other packages-only difference is you don't have to purchase the park tickets.

Adding the DDP makes it a pkg, so it must be paid in full by 45 days out. What you can do is book room only for now, then add the DDP later. The only thing is, if you add the DDP within the 45 day window, the total will be due in full immediately. The DP can be added up to 72 hours before check in. There have been some reports though, that if you add anything within a week of check in that you may be charged an administration fee, even though the price of your ressie is going up, so you might want to add it before then.
