Our first night in Disney, we plan to visit Wilderness Lodge and the Monorail resorts for a look at the Christmas decorations. We have dinner reservations at Grand Floridian. I have always wanted to do this and I am quite excited about it.:santa:
My question is this. Do we need dinner reservations in order to sit at the bar/lounge of resort restaurants? For instance at Whispering Canyon and Wave, can we go in for an appetizer and drink? (Keep in mind we will be having dinner later at Grand Floridian Cafe)

Thanking you in advance

You do not need reservations to sit at the bar or in the lounge.

The WL lounge is called Territory Lounge and is not part of Whispering Canyon.

Warning. Some of these appetizers are LARGE. I make dinner out of them myself.

Also, allow plenty of time if relying on DIsney transportation. Monorail to MK to WL boat is probably a good 45 minutes, even more coming back as you will ride all the way around on the monorail to GF. boat from GF to MK then boat to WL may be a little quicker but the resort launch from GF is open, so be prepared.
