Apartments mext to Kidani

Just got back from AKL Kidani & noticed new apartment construction within eyeshot of Kidani's front door. Had to take shuttle to Jambo House & driver confirmed apartments are NOT Disney property. Looking for any other news & wanted to question what this might do to Kidani's resale value.

Should do nothing to DVC prices. You are either on site or not, doesn't matter where you're off site, it still OFF SITE.

Maybe time for a new Disney berm or some landscaping with tall trees...

I know I would not have bought at Kidani, if I knew apartments would be next door.

I agree, and I wouldn't be surprised if that landscaping was already in the planning stage.

I'm sure Disney will ensure that it's difficult for people to walk from them to Kidani - there will probably be high weeds and snake/alligator habitat between, like there is between the Bonnet Creek development and CBR. But it is unfortunate that AKL is at the very edge of Disney property.

I own DVC and also own Orange Lake. I can twll you I can see AKL from our Villa at OLCC and when we leave the resort, it is also pretty visable from the highway.
