My granddaughters driving. Our oldest is 11 so I’ve only got 5 more years before she’ll be behind the wheel. It scares me alot. Not because I think she’ll be a bad driver, but because of all the other idiots out there.

Figuring out what life is going to look like as my son gets older. He is currently 15 and autistic and we are not quite sure if he will ever be able to live completely on his own, provide for himself etc. we are working on skill building but it’s a slow process.

Right there with you. My 2 are autistic and one just turned 18. It's not been as daunting as I thought it would be, but he is fairly capable at skills based stuff. Communication is what is holding him back from being more independent. My other is 16 and needs a LOT more help. It's something we have just been taking one day at a time.

Daughter #2 heading to college in two weeks. Despite having already done it with oldest DD I am not ready for this one to go. She is smart and capable, funny and a joy to be around, but she has a vulnerability about her that her sisters do not. I am worried that despite many ongoing conversations about protecting herself in all sorts of ways, she is still just a bit naive.
