Apart from biscuits, what do you like to dunk in cups of tea?

I'm American and I've never heard of anyone here dunking anything in their tea. Coffee, yes. Tea, no. I drink lots of tea but only iced tea, half green/half oolong, then prepared with sugar and lemon juice and lots of ice. I can't imagine anything that would taste good dunked in sweet tea.

I am an American too---Since I have never had a sip of coffee in my life, I sometimes like to dunk things in my tea, or cocoa

I drink iced tea very seldom and I don't think I've ever had hot tea. I guess I've never dunked anything in my tea.

I rarely drink hot beverages, and haven’t had tea in years, but I have been known to dunk cookies in it!

Nothing. I’m not a dunker. I mostly drink coffee, just occasionally tea.

Ive often wondered, what we Americans call cookies the English call them biscuits. So then, what we call biscuits ( as in biscuits and gravy, buttermilk biscuits, etc.) what do the English call those?🤔

Biscuits (UK) = are what we call cookies in the US (generally)

Proper biscuits in the UK are called biscuits. However, what the US call a biscuit, they call a scone, which is cut in half and spread with cream and jam (jelly in the US). For those in the UK, biscuits are sweet and very crisp, whereas cookies are of a softer consistency.

Dunking in cocoa is yummy, chocolate makes everything better! I don't like coffee but I forced myself to drink it back when I worked overnight shift at the hospital because I needed something to stay awake and we only had a coffee machine on the floor, I couldn't pack enough tea to last me through a 12 hour shift! Coffee and Oreo cookies go well together.

Dunking's a Brit thing, innit? McVities in yer cuppa, and the like? Dollop of Lurpak on your scone, you cheeky monkey?

Nope nothing. I do like dunking the tea bag up and down a few times because I feel I makes the tea leaves move a bit and makes it a bit stronger.

I don’t like my cookies, cakes, etc. to be wet, so I don’t dunk any food in any beverage. None of my friends and family circle do either, with the exception of the couple people who like biscotti and dunk it in their coffee.
