Sorry if these questions have been posted before but 1rst time we'll be getting AP passes. We'll be getting the FL resident seasonal passes. Since we're going in early Dec. I budgeted to buy the passes a few weeks before. Is it possible to get an AP rate at a resort prior to actually buying the passes ? I can assume I will need to show the AP passes at check-in But do I need to actually turn the vouchers in for actual passes before we check-in ?

Now just waiting for good Dec. codes . Thanks for any info. !!!!

We will be getting AP's for the first time this year as well. From everything I have read on these boards, you do not have to have the AP to book the reservation, you just have to have it at the time you check in. There is some debate over whether or not you can check in with the voucher or if you have to go to the TTC and turn them into the actual passes. One post I remember reading stated that some people are asked for it, others are not, to be safe go ahead and convert the voucher before checkin.

Hopefully someone who has done this before will give you better info than I have.

The rule is you need to have the actual pass at check in, but I think most everyone here would agree that a voucher is acceptable. We have been using annual passes for the last three years. We have never had the actual pass, only the voucher. Sometimes they ask for nothing at all. Worse case senario I have read about on the board is that they ask that you stop by the front desk after you activate your voucher, even if it's the next day.
