AP with Disney giftcards?

Any easy tips to purchase DVC annual passes w/Disney giftcards? MS has to check multiple places to see if its even possible? How is that! They are saying each card is considered a transaction and they can only do 2 transactions for payment, even tho it is the same type of payment! I hope this works- I have a stack of gc's to buy passes. This is turning into a part time job!!

Any experiences/advice would be appreciated!

Have to follow up...MS transferred me to a ticketing dept that was able to take my 19 giftcards no problem. I got their direct number for next time, but still thought this would have been a bit easier through MS. Still, they did get me to the right place in a super friendly fashion and ticketing dept was super friendly too! In a super Disney mood now!

MS does not have the same access when selling APs as the main ticketing department does. As for calling them direct, other members have tried that and couldn't get them to sell them APs because MS didn't transfer them there.

Park ticket windows and guest relations locations on property don't have a restriction on the number of Disney gift cards that they can accept.

Thanks - I will try calling direct next time and report back if I had to go via MS. I am kind of thinking it is difficult on purpose, but the staff couldn't be friendlier - feel bad for putting them through this, but want to get these purchased before any ticket price increase! Oh, MS also mentioned that we can do online check in 60 days in advance - that was news to me!

When I called the ticketing department direct, I wanted to confirm that they could accept my 18 gift cards for one AP BEFORE I locked up $450 in GC's. They said they could but I need to call MS first and ask to be transferred. They said that MS likes to "keep track of the DVC AP purchases."...whatever that means

At any Park (including TTC, DTD or water park) ticket or Guest Relations window we can accept an unlimited number of Disney Gift Cards for any transaction. My personal acceptance record is 23 Gift Cards for one (multiple AP) transaction.
