AP- What do you do?

I know these have probably already been asked and answered many a time, but, hey, here goes:

Daughter and me are going for 3 night trip to DLRP on Sunday and hopefully the whole family returning in December. Now, I booked a package this time around, but was thinking about getting Dream APs when we return in Dec. I think I understand some of the Sponsor side of APs but a bit confused as to who does what concerning forms, and if I need forms should I get some from AP office when I am there? Or if some kind soul was to sponsor me, would I need forms for them or me? If I got mine before my hubbys, can I sponsor him & my daughter, or can't you do family members?

Also, still confused as to whether I can apply by post for the AP. And when to apply as I would hopefully want to get it so I could get discount off the room for the next trip.

Lots & lots of other questions swirlling around in my big,empty head. Should I just go in the AP office & see what info I can get?

You get someone to sponsor you are they send you a form (which they were usually given when buying their AP). You complete your details on this and take it to AP office when you buy your AP. If you want someone to sponsor you just post a request on sponsor thread

There has been a thread recently saying you can buy APs by post but no one seems to have done this so far (although I think Mulan is at the point of trying it) However if you do this you have to activate your AP within 30 days - ie use it and exchange for a real AP. This means you are risking it by waiting to the last minute to try and get a room with discount.

You can sponsor family members but need to have had your own AP for so long before you can do this- think its 2 mths but not sure

Don't worry about lots of questions about AP. It is something that took us all quite a lot of questions to understand

You'll not be able to sponsor your children's AP as you have to have your APs for 1 month before you are able to sponsor others.
