I bought the APs for my honeymoon. Obviously my drivers license will still have my maiden name and his license will still show his old address. What do you think I should bring to prove that we live in the same household just a day after the wedding? The Mickey bride ears that I bought off ebay? Proof that he getting his mail forwarded to my place? Obviously our wedding rings will be on and I told the DVC reservation place that we'll be on our honeymoon but that won't help at the parks.

Ok, so you've already gotten the AP's correct? Addresses, etc don't matter in regard to that, so are you talking about when you order the DDE? I don't have an exact answer, but when you call them, ask them what you should do. I couldn't get one for my father even though we have the same address, they said only spouses, so you shouldn't have a problem. Tons of people get married and /or honeymoon there, so I'm sure they'll have an answer.

Congrats on your own "Disneymoon" :earsboy: :earsgirl: . First, just make sure everyone knows it is your honeymoon (most of the time it's obvious anyway). We got extra-special Disney-treatment everywhere such as room upgrade, special notes and gifts, the works. When we did ours we did take our marriage license but didn't need it.

The one bummer was that somehow my wife's maiden name got on the hotel reservations so our park passes/resort ID called us Mr & Mrs My father-in law (I forget why that couldn't get changed).

Have fun.

This was originally on the DVC board. The DVC AP discount is good for the member and family members living at the same address. So that is where the address question comes into play. When you activate the DVC AP vouchers, you have to show ID's from the same address.

Is your future husband moving in to your place? He could just get his drivers license updated before you leave and you would have the same household address! If he is already getting mail forwarded there, than it should be no problem having the proper documentation for the address change at the DMV. Then no one would question it - there are many married couples that don't share the same last name particularly those who are not US residents, so that won't be unusual for DVC - but if the address being the same will save $$ and hastle I would recommend that he change it before the trip!

PS - we also had the same problem as disneymooner - I took care of all of the reservations, so even though we got married at WDW they still gave us certificates at check in that had my last name not my husband's!
