Has anyone thought about upgrading to an AP now that photo pass is included? If we upgrade one ticket, I think we will might save a few dollars by taking advantage of the merchandise discounts. Did anybody else run the numbers? FYI we have 6 day tickets.

There have already been a couple of threads about this on the boards.
Posters thought it was a good plan.

A 6-day MYW base ticket is $346.13, or $414.29 if you added the park hopper option. Memory Maker is $169 if purchased in advance. A Platinum AP is $797.69. A 6-day MYW ticket plus Memory Maker is going to run you $515.13, or $583.29 if you're hopping. Either way you're going to be paying $200+ extra for the AP. You'd need to spend about $2,000 on merchandise to break even (10% AP discount).
