Hi,
How long does it take to get the vouchers from day of order?? I wanted to order them at the end of April for Mid-May trip. Is that enough time?

Thanks

Why take any risk. Either order them right now or (better yet) just purchase them at any Guest Services window at any Theme Park or DD. You will still get the DVC discount with an onsite purchase (just take your blue member card and photo ID).

Enjoy!

Can you also enroll in the AP dining discount program on-site when you but the AP?

Hi there,

Our PAP passes took four weeks, you may think that was the time taken to get over to the UK, but no it was an admin backlog within MS. Hope this is useful to you.

There is a specific office that handles the DDE. You can't sign-up in person at WDW, rather you must call the DDE line during business hours. I know the days are M-F...not entirely sure of their operating hours.

It reportedly takes 4-6 weeks to get the actual card in your hands, but DDE will fax a confirmation to your resort that you can use the rest of the trip to obtain the discounts. I've seen many posts from people who have had no trouble using the email to obtain the discount. I'm sure a LOT of folks have been joining DDE since this opened-up about 2-3 months ago, so the waitstaff is probably used to seeing the email confirmations by now.

So, if you're arriving on a weekend, you might lose some discounts. But if you don't mind waiting until Monday morning to call, you should be able to get the confirmation faxed to you and be set for the rest of your trip.

It took just one week for our AP vouchers to reach us in England.

I ordered the DDE card after that (March 7). Still waiting on the DDE card but the office told me it will be sent during the next week. I called to find out if they could extend my email as it expires before my trip. It turns out they were going to call me as the CM who took the orders that day forgot to ask the CC expiry date and they could not process the transaction.

Your AP vouchers don't start the clock ticking on your 366 days until the first day you visit a park. If you are looking at getting the DDE passes, I would order the AP's ASAP and order the DDE card as soon as you get the vouchers. You might already be a bit late to get the DDE card, but I understand you can get an email that will be acceptable when you get to WDW.

We are not traveling until December 31, so I will probably wait until summer to get the AP vouchers and plan to order the DDE card in November. Hopefully by then there wont be such a backlog.

i have a question...what if you are not traveling with the person who is the main DVC on the account but live at the same address, family member, can you still purchase the passes down there?

I believe your name has to be on the contract too. Not 100% sure about that though. I know our growwn kids can not get the AP discount. Their names are on the contracts as associates, but they do not live at our address, so they don't qualify for the passes.
