AP voucher questions - experts, please help!

Hey guys! I have a few questions:

I renewed my AP for the first time from home back in June, but only have the voucher. We are visiting Disney in November and I want to get my facts straight.

1. I thought I heard mention that you can exchange an AP voucher at Downtown Disney for the actual ticket. We are going to Downtown Disney our first night and I would rather exchange it then. Is there a place and where is it?

2. Also, is my new expiration date in June (when I renewed it) or in November (when I actually exchange the voucher for the active AP)?

3. Finally, I have an AP rate on our POP reservation. We are checking-in first, then going to Downtown Disney. Can I just show them the voucher and explain or will they have a problem with this?

The guest services desk is next to Team Mickey (actually in the same building)

Since you renewed your pass you will keep the same anniversary date (June).

Personally, we don't renew for that exact reason. We just let ours expire & get new ones so they are valid 365 from date of activation. If we would be visiting within a month of the anniversay date then I would probably renew but any longer than that... get a brand new one IMO.

I know it used to be that you had to show an active AP at check in, voucher didn't cut it. Not sure how it is now. Might want to call & check on that one or maybe someone else here has had more recent experience.

It trully depends on the CM at the front desk. The offical policy is that you need the AP not the voucher to check-in. That being said some CM's have been known to allow the voucher.
