AP Voucher/GC Check-In Question...

I have tried searching, but could not find this answer.

I bought our AP's online. (Thanks to everyone here, I bought before the price increase!)

I have the vouchers and was wondering if they are exchanged for tickets when we check-in or do we have to go to the ticket booths.

I have also heard some say that they just took the voucher straight to the turnstiles. Is this true?

Any guidance for this first time AP'er would be greatly appreicated!

We just took ours to the turnstiles. They scanned it and then we took our pics.

I bought APs and booked a room with the AP4 discount in August. I didn't even have vouchers. The check-in clerk printed a paper voucher at the front desk. I think if logic holds, you can show your vouchers at check-in (if you need to for a rate) and get in the park with them but you can only get the real plastic card with pictures from the "bank" inside the park. Does this make sense?

Go through the turnstiles and get your pics taken at the bank before you leave for your real passes. If the line is HUGE when you get there, wait a bit for it to die down and then get in line.

Yes, you can buy your AP's when you check in.

We have the AP4 rate as well and I was wondering if I just buy my AP when we check in. Sounds like that's what you did?

I had booked the hotel on the phone so I went ahead and ordered the APs at the same time. The reservations clerk had a record of it and printed the paper vouchers at check-in. It was straightforward and convenient.
