Does the DVC Annual Pass voucher have a name on it or is there just a voucher number? I have an AP now but we are unsure when we will be returning to Disney therefore we are forgoing renewing our existing AP and plan on purchasing a new AP. I was wondering that if the event we don’t get back to Disney, could anyone else on the DVC membership exchange the AP vouchers we purchase now? I know that the voucher is neither nontransferable nor returnable but is each specific to one person?

When they sell the AP, on-line or over the phone, you must provide names of persons for the APs. That applies to both new and renewals. I believe those are on the vouchers but it does not matter. When you go to exchange, the names for the AP will be in their computer system and they will issue APs only in those names when you present the voucher, in other words, they won't be relying on the information or lack thereof on the voucher, they will be relying on what is in their computer system that matches the voucher number you present.

Yes but it is last name only, but they have the full name of file.

I just purchased my annual passes on-line and it did not ask for the names of the persons for the annual passes. It only had my name because I was the person purchasing them. I purchased 4, for all members of my household.

I purchased eight DVC AP vouchers by phone a few month ago, and no names were requested.

I think they rely on adults' photo IDs and the names on their DVC member cards when redeeming the vouchers.

In the case we didn’t go again, I would hate for the AP’s to not be used. I am only trying to lock in today’s price and also know that they will not go to waste if we can’t use them.

Has anyone heard what a ten day parkhopper ticket is going to cost come next week?

a little off topic, but i just received vouchers for our passes, and they spelled our last name wrong. Do i have to get them fixed before exchanging them for the AP's?
Thanks in advance for your help :)

Nope. I buy them online at the A/P shareholder site and then use them as needed for both DH and me. I don't put in separate orders (and we don't have the same last names, either.)

There is no name on the voucher. It's just a plastic card. As long as you have an annual pass that you can upgrade with it, you will be able to use it.

Exactly.

Interesting, I bought my voucher by phone and it has my last name on it. It sound like if you buy on line it does not. I also did 3 will calls by phone and the MS person asked for names of the 3 people (wife and 2 children). Sounds like if you want flexibility you should purchase on line.

I ordered a total of 5 annual passes today. The first I ordered over the phone from the disney site for my niece...no name requested. Then I called DVC member services and ordered 2 more...no names requested. A few hours later I ordered 2 more from the DVC web-site...again no names requested. You need Identification when you redeem your vouchers and if need be, your DVC member card.:)
