AP Voucher and FastPass+ reservations

We have a room only reservation for February 2016. My plan is to buy an e-ticket for my husband, and upload it to MDE.

I would like to purchase an Annual Pass from Disney for myself, as I have another solo trip planned later in the year. I know that will automatically show up in MDE, but will it be available for FastPass reservations at the 60 day mark, since it isn't activated yet?

Has anyone dealt with this situation before?

Yes, link your AP confirmation # and you'll be able to book FPs for your length of stay.
