Hi All!
Here is my scenario and I would greatly appreciate experienced AP advice since, as I mentioned, I am a AP virgin!!!
Buying a 7 day park hopper to put on my MDE (> 60 days in advance to coincide with our on property room only stay) for our 7 night trip starting October 17....then wanting to turn that into a AP during my stay....question....I'm thinking it makes most sense to do this on the 6th day of our stay SO my 365 days starts on that day. Or does it start from the first day I used the original hopper when we arrived on the 17. Clearly I do not understand the whole bridge thing. Should I just buy an AP in the first place? I like the idea of deferring the cost a bit. If the AP starts on the 6th day of our trip and/or when I upgrade it, then I might be able to squeeze in another fall trip the following October.
I will be buying my ticket from WDW direct. No water park, just hopping. I do not plan on using the AP discount (I have industry discounts) or buying TIW. We are planning to use the AP for a few days in the spring and I might be able, like I mentioned, to get another fall trip out of it too, so the timing question is the main thing here.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just want to make sure I get it all before I make a mistake.
I love my disboard friends, thank you for your help!!!!
Erin
