AP VB Summer Blackout Dates

I am thinking about planning a trip to RPR the middle of August, however I noticed that our AP passes have blackout dates through August 18th for VB, I believe before 4 p.m. I know they do open up the dates earlier sometimes, just wondering if anyone remembers if they opened it up early last summer?

FYI, the summer VB blockout dates have been lifted for Power and Preferred APs.
