AP valid through 2030?

Got my new exchange certificates for activating my AP.

My dates got shortened in the meantime and may not be able to make best use of AP's this year.

I noticed it says they are valid through 2030. Can I just hold on to them for a couple of years and use it then?

If so it seems like the price will go up and I may have made a good investement?

I've heard of people buying no expiration and saving them. Have people done the same with AP's?

2. It's OK. It's not really much of a "hedge for inflation," per se.
3. That's (more or less) a thing of the past. Disney does not sell "non-expiring" tickets anymore.
However, just buying any multi-day Magic Your Way ticket and not using it... means that the ticket will remain ready-to-use at some time in the future.

BTW, the "2030" date is not when the AP voucher will suddenly have zero value.
It just means that you won't be able to directly trade that voucher for a live AP.
You can still get the value of the money that you originally paid for the voucher,
if you wanted to purchase another ticket or AP at that time.
