AP upgrade question

We currently have 8 day hoppers with waterparks.

We intend to upgrade to annual passes during our trip.

We're just upgrading to the regular AP not the premium that includes the water parks.

The way I understand it they take the value of ticket ($463 in the case) and I pay the difference between that and an annual pass.

How will that work if we go to a waterpark one day before upgrading the ticket to annual passes? Will I still get the full value applied toward the AP?

If you use a waterparks fun & more entitlement, you will only be able to upgrade to the Premium AP.

Ok. So if I don't use any waterpark entitlements I'll be able to upgrade just to the regular annual pass though right?

Yep, exactly. The full value of that ticket can be applied to a non-premium AP as long as none of the waterpark entitlements are used.
