AP Toy Story Mania Preview Contest

woo hoo - just signed up!

Thanks for the heads up :)

wouldn't it be fun if we get picked and for the same time? we could do a "mini-meet!"

Thanks Cheryl!
Just signed up.
It was so nice to meet you this weekend, it was a lot of fun.:thumbsup2

It was really nice to meet you too--and Brianne (hope I spelled it right)--is a delight. What a lucky Mom you are to have such a lovely, accomplished daughter! (Well, maybe it wasn't all luck . . . .maybe it had something to do with her Mom!)

looking forward to our next "meet"

Cheryl :flower3:

Thank you for posting this!!!!
Just registered everyone in my family!!!

Because I am soooo self-centered I know they planned this on the days I will be there.Thank you Disney for such personal attention:cool1: Hoping all the best of luck on the drawing:)

I registered too! Just myself but I'll do DBF later tonight from home. :)

What do you think this wil do to the crowds on those days? I have four days in the park and was hoping 6/9 and 6/10 (being a Mon and a Tues) would be less crowded. It looks like DCA will be descended upon by AP holders? I had also held out a hope that I would luck out with a soft opening opportunity on this ride for the general public but that hope looks dashed now!

I will be there those days except I leave on the last day and I'm worried that I would win and not be able to get in due to the long waits.

However, I will be on a Disney cruise on June 2. What if I don't reply to my email until I get there?

Anyone know? Can I just check it once I get to the PPH on June 8?

Thanks for the heads up Cheryl! I just entered. :goodvibes

The website says that they will start contacting winners on June 2nd, but I didn't see the cut off date for entries. I imagine it will be sometime before that. So I would suggest you enter before you get there, ore even better enter now! :goodvibes On the entry form, you can check any or all dates that you are able to come, so if you cannot come the last day it is offered, don't click it. I couldn't come every time that was listed, so I just put down when I could actually attend.

Hope you get picked!

edited to add: Oh, I see what you mean - what if you don't get back to them in time after they e-mailed you that you won. I have no idea, as I've never entered this type of thing before.

Someone who has done this before (perhaps for Nemo) Do you have to send them a confirming e-mail telling them that you will be there at the appointed time?

You said it better than I did. Do we need to confirm our acceptance. My email will say that I am away on vacation, but it will a Disney one and we will be there.

What are they chances of winning?:happytv:

Oh my gosh! What a bummer! After entering all my family in the sweepstakes, I read the official rules and you have to be US citizens. That is sooo unfair! We're Canadian and we're AP holders, and we're going to be there during that time.

I think its very unfair that Canadian or any other country's AP holders are not eligible. What difference should it make? They took our money!

Very, very unhappy:( ::confused: :confused3 :::(

Actually it's the goverment not Disney. There are certain laws about entering contests in other countries. Occassionally there is tricks but not always. Its sort of like if you Canadians win say the Suite here you have to answer a math question before you can win. It stinks but its not Disneys fault.

Disney can certainly get around that but doing what they do for the Year of a Million Dreams.

You can win prizes no problem there!

I'm soo bummed out and so are my kids. We're at the Paradise Pier those four days, we will have been on our third Disney cruise the week before, and at DLH 4 days prior to that.

Our signature proves we are disney fanatics, and to be an AP holder denied being able to enter the contest is really upsetting.

Sigh.

I keep thinking that somehow it'll work for me. Somehow....

Who can I write to this about?

Well, why do they have to know you are Canadian citizens? Do you think they will ask you for a passport???? If they contact you by email, I don't see how they could possibly know (just don't say 'eh' too many times:lmao: ).

If you need a US address, just borrow one (you can have mine if you like!):wizard:
