AP - shopping discount

I recently am a new AP holder; we are a party of 5 (1 child, 4 adults) and will be enjoying the parks together. Lets say MiL wants to go shopping on her own, can she get the discount (if available) or would I need to be with her? What would I need to show?

We are hoping to charge back to the rooms and pay with gcs for all daily charges.

You (the AP holder) need to be the one buying the item. You'll need your AP card and photo ID. Sometimes CMs won't ask for your ID but most times they do.
