AP runs out mid trip....help with FP+

So our annual passes run out on the third day of our next trip. I plan to renew them instead of buying tickets. If I renew my AP at the 60 day out mark, will I be able to reserve my FP+?

I would especially like to hear from someone who has done this and not just speculation. THANKS!!!

Yes you can do this I just did it for my trip next week. I arrive on jan 22 and my AP expires on jan 24. I made my first few FP selections. Then I had to call dvc to renew because the dvc renewal wasn't working online. Once I called and renewed I got a confirmation number. I logged into my account and linked the confirmation/will call number to my account. I was then allowed to make the rest of my FP selections immediately afterwards.
