We just purchased APs for the first time last week. How do we find out about AP room discounts?

Once you associate the APs to your MDE, when you log in and go to special offers, you should see the AP ones.

you may have to dump your cookies if you have all of your log in info saved. Also, there are some sections of the passholder site that do not like Safari browser and force me to use Chrome instead.

And parts that don't like Chrome and force you to use Edge/IE instead. I can't go to the AP page at all in Chrome. It's blank. But I can see the AP discounts on the Resorts page, provided I'm signed in to my account. Sometimes you have to scroll to the far right end of the list though, it's always the last one

Thanks for the info and browser tips. I didn't realize I wasn't signed into my account when I tried the first time. I find that the AP page often comes up blank in Chrome, too.

I like this one.... "you may have to dump your cookies if you have all of your log in info saved."

ehhhhhhh - is that not throwing up? :).

Another suggestion: CALL CALL CALL. Use the Website first. If it constantly fails? Use the approved WDW backup:
CALL.

And, perhaps one day, WDW will have a true business Website. But not today :).

The problem with calling is it is very hard to shop around at the various resort options. Sure they will price out everything on the phone but it's cumbersome to have you ask for a couple different date choices and a half dozen resorts for each set of dates. Or maybe I'm the only one that starts out very flexible when I'm in the first stages of planning a trip

Well, my last call experience (and I had to because I was calling the passholder line to renew early to get the 13 for 12 month promo and it wasn't showing when I added it online) was a hoot. Thankful I have unlimited flat rate long distance on my home landline as the call too 48 minutes due to "heavy call volumes" . First person I spoke with after waiting like 10 minutes was sweet but unable to handle it and had to change me over to a ticketing person. Well, sh got one on the line and they hung up ON HER. So then she had to try again and then she waited on the line for me to make sure that we connected with each other. 48 MINUTES folks! If it'd been my cell I probably would have either had my phone die or lost signal! Was able to get it handled though, saved 15% by renewing early (had to to book my Fast Passes on Thursday for my Jan 2 trip) and also got an extra month added at the end of the pass!

I have to agree, I had to call because I will not be upgrading until I arrive at WDW. First the CM was confused because I had a reservation elsewhere and then it took forever to get the numbers I needed because she had to keep going in and out of each resort. I was actually interested in a split stay, but realized getting the numbers would be even longer since I would need pricing for various combos.

I am not even going to try to figure out resorts for my future 2017 trips until I have my AP setup so I can log in. I figure that the timing of my first trip should have the AP discounts about the time I get my AP or soon after.
