AP room discount

I'm considering adding a few nights at CBR to my stay to take advantage of AP rates and the $75 gift card.

It looks like AP discount is not available for the Saturday night. Is that normal?
It also will only let me book 3 nights. If I try to just book 2 it says not available.
Is this normal or an online glitch?
It also looks like the discounts are constantly changing.
First it only had Pirate rooms for $189, then it showed regular rooms for $184-$188 with Pirate rooms $222 +.
Are the discounts constantly changing?
Will I be better off calling to reserve?

Normal is a relative term in Disney speak.

There are usually a set # of rooms allocated for AP discounts, so that's probably why you're having issues on the weekend rates.

The actual discount shouldn't change (15% off for example). The rate it's affecting obviously does. It's more expensive Thursday through Sunday than the rest of the nights.

Calling is an option and could net you better results, yes.
