I know AP room-only rates are released a couple of months in advance, so I won't be able to figure out March '10 rates for a little while. But, I wondered if anyone remembers what the AP discount was in March of this year... mid-March, around the 10th-20th?

I know it's no guarantee the rates will be the same next year, I'm trying to figure out what the "best case" scenario might be.

Also, on a related note.... We are getting APs as part of wedding package. We have the vouchers already, but won't convert them to the actual APs until our wedding trip next March. Does anyone know where I can find current rates/discounts for AP holders? Is that something I can have access to prior to actually having the passes?

TIA!!! :goodvibes

I called the day the AP rates came out for March this year and couldn't get anything for a friday or saturday night. It was sun-thurs only. So we ended up paying rack rate for Pop for friday and saturday nights then we checked into OKW on Sunday with rented points for five nights in a two bedroom villa. I was so mad I wrote a letter and complained. Not giving APholders a discount on fridays and saturdays is terrible I think. This March I'm not even messing with APs. I booked the 7 for 4 deal this morning. But if a great AP rate comes out I can always cancel this package and rebook something else. AP rates use to be amazing, but I'm not holding my breath this time around.

Good Luck! :)

Yea, I've heard March isn't the best time for AP rates. We booked the 7/4 deal last week, so at the very worst we'd have a pretty good deal. I was hoping to add two nights on, possibly at a different resort, to the end of our trip. But, financially, with all the other wedding costs, this can only happen if there's some sort of room-only discount. Luckily, I'm looking to add Wednesday and Thursday nights. Maybe there will be something...

Do you remember what the Sun-Thurs. discount rate was?

If I remember correctly Pop was like $59 during the week and the full $129 for us that weekend.
