AP Resort Rates for the end of 2017

It looks like AP resort rates are only available through October 7. Can you please share your thoughts about when the rates for the rest of the year might become available? Thank you!

You can look at prior years and see the 'typical' pattern to help guide what may happen this year. Obviously things can change year to year but this is a good start.

When are you searching for? If your AP is linked to your MDE account, you should be able to see AP rates/availability when you search online (assuming an AP discount rate is available for whatever you are searching for). You need to be signed in for the AP rates to 'show up' as an option.

I think that is the problem. I am signed in but it doesn't show rates that include December so either it is not up for December yet or there are no discounts. I wasn't sure which one...

Ahh, yes, that's it. I don't believe AP discounts are out for Dec yet. Looks like last year they didn't come out until end of August.

That's the one kicker with the AP discounts. They're usually the last to come out for booking. Disney wants to fill their resorts with everyone else first, then give us APs a deal!

I'm waiting ready to book in December. It's seems like September just came out late in the game. At this rate it might not be until late September that December comes out.

Does anyone else have trouble having to look up nights individually at times than consecutively? For instance Fri and Sat night don't come up as available sometimes, but Fri then Sat alone do. I know it might depend on room type/view but this was for the same each night.

Again this link above is the best resource for understanding when discounts "may" become available. You must keep in mind............just because Disney releases discounts does not guarantee they have one that meets your criteria. Not all resorts or room categories will get a discount. The discounts are used to fill empty space...........that's it.

My Jersey week reservations at the Ft Wilderness cabins or PoP Century (preferred room) are not guaranteed..........and in fact I'm not expecting them given the time of year (Jersey week and last week of F&W). I've booked what I believe I can handle without any discount. If one happens that's gravy!
