My AP expired september this year brought at full price in 2008 when not a DVC member.

If I renew in January at guest relations can I get the DVC member renewel price?

Thanks:)

I don't think it will be classed as a renewal in January. Seem to recall it has to be within 30 days of expiry? You can renew by ringing member services or at least check your options with them. You would get DVC price at guest services as long as you have your blue membership card and photo ID.

Sorry to jump on the thread - can anyone tell me what the current AP cost with DVC discount is, please?

It does have to be within 30 days of expiry and the new pass would be dated 12 months from when the first one expired but as Mikki says, just take your DVC membership card to any guest services and you can buy new AP's at the DVC discounted rate

Thanks all, I will do that then.

Hi everyone.
I have an 'about-to-expire' premium AP and was wondering whether to renew BUT I don't need the premium extras.

Sooo I was wondering if it's possible to renew but downgrade??? I thought I'd read somewhere (all ears probably) that this was possible but I just rang MS and spoke to someone who said "no" but didn't seem to know that much about anything...

The dilemma is whether to renew now for the 15 months or leave it and get a normal AP and activate on my next trip... :headache:

Yes you can up or down grade. I have done that several times! Try again, far too many member services CMs don't know what they are talking about now.

Thanks, Mikki! I thought so - I'll be calling back...

Our DVC APs expired in September. We renewed them over the phone and picked them up when we were at MK in October. Due to a Florida Resident promotion (on which the DVC prices are based) the new tickets are for fifteen months. Every little helps!

Was wondering we are off in June to BLT is it worth getting the passes booked now and pick them up in June and if so does anyone no when they start from , ie when we booked or when we pick them up.

Assuming they aren't activated then they'll activate on first use. So you can buy them now and they won't start until you go through the turnstiles at a park/water park.

This is for new APs though, now renewals.

EDIT: Just realised I made the silly assumption that you'd use the card the same day you picked it up. It's activated on collection (which has to happen as they print the expiry date on the card) not on first turnstile use. I just didn't think of the possibility that a person may collect their APs but not use them that day. *doh!*

cool so we should be ok to get the 15 mths for 12, does anyone know when its gonna end ????
