AP Renewal ?

Hi everyone,

This is the first time we have gotten APs and my question is when renewing do you get a certificate or does the pass go into effect on the date you renew?

You get a certificate but when you renew, your pass renews from the date when the old pass expired.

Renewals begin on the date the original expires. Currently, renewals made within 30 days of the expiration date will be extended for 15 months instead of the usual 12 months. No word on how long that incentive may last though.

I have been looking for confirmation that the 15 extension applies to DVC AP renewals (with the discount).
Do you know if the discount remains the same?

Ours expire at the end of September. We were debating renewing because our next 2 planned trips (as of now) are for Dec 6-13 2009 and then Dec 16-19, 2010.
If the extension applies, we would get both trips included, in addition to anything else we add on!

I don't know that this has actually been confirmed as yet, but the information I have is that the DVC discount will be the same as in the past and that it can still be applied to the extended renewals.
