AP renewal ?

I don't see where I can renew my DVC/AP on the members web site. Is this possible? Thanks

Actually you need to renew on the AP holder site. Once you log in the website knows you are a DVC AP holder by the information on your ticket. If you go to renew, the price will be the DVC member price and the ticket option will be designated as a DVC renewal AP. I used this recently to check the price of the renewal, but had to renew in person since I was applying my one day tickets from the last time they offered free dining. My one day ticket was worth $71, so was an incentive to do it in person. I only had to pay the difference.

You do know that when you renew your AP, the date it starts is the date your old AP expires, so even though they will send you a voucher, it is active. You should always crunch the numbers to see if renewing is a better deal vs buying a new card. (hope that makes sense)

thanks for the info, actually ours expire 6/16 and we'll be arriving on 6/19 so renewal will work for us. Do you know how long it takes to get the voucher in the mail? Since our trip is about 3 weeks away I was just wondering if we should just do it there. Thanks

I would just wait and renew at Disney, since it takes just as long at Guest Services to exchange a voucher as to do a renewal. Be sure to take you DVC Membership Card and Drivers Licenses.

Unless you're ordering the DDE card, I would just wait and renew at Guest Services when you get there. With the voucher you must stop and exchange it at GS anyway.

It seems to me that AP vouchers have usually taken 2-3 weeks to arrive when we've ordered in advance.
