My AP will be expiring in June. But, I am wondering....if I were to renew my AP, but get the PAP, would I get the renewal discount pricing on the PAP or would I have to pay the full DVC price of a PAP? (which i know is still a discount)

We are definitely planning on hitting the water parks on our next visit. DS wants to check out Disney Quest as well.

Thanks for any help you can provide..

Your best bet is to talk to Guest Relations. Remember that they have a didn't ask, don't tell, policy. In other words, they will not offer you the best discount, you have to ask for it. We learned this during our December trip when my daughter wanted to upgrade a MYW ticket to a AP. The price quoited was high. I stepped in, asked a couple of questions, and the Cast Member told us that they are trained not to offer certain discounts unless asked for by the Guest. So much for Disney Magic. :sad2:

Any particular questions you should ask to make sure you get the best discount (other than "what's the best discount?")

So, this seems to be a more subjective topic rather than a cut and dry what discounts we are entitled to. Interesting......

You aren't renewing a PAP. You would be renewing an AP. I wonder if you could renew the AP and then upgrade to a PAP?

It would seem that I could upgrade to a PAP at the time of renewal, right? I was just wondering if I could get the renewal discount for DVC on the PAP.
