AP Renewal quick question....

After looking at some posts, I'm a little confused.

My AP expires this Friday. I purchased a NEW AP through Disney. When I enter a park next Monday, do I have to do anything? I will carry it with me for discount purposes, but even if I don't have it, I'm assuming my wristband will get me into the park? Also, what will the START day of this AP Be? Will it be this Friday (the day it expires)....or this Saturday, the day AFTER it expires, or next MONDAY, my first use of the new AP???

Ok, I actually just found the letter that came with it in the mail. It is a renewal. I need to go to the Passholder website. and also register. It says I need to carry the card they mailed me (exchange certificate) and a photo idea and go to a theme park window. OK, so it's a good thing I posted this because I didn't even think to check the enevelope they mailed me. And it does use my Anniversary date. I should have never renewed. I should have just purchased a new one. Well, you live and you learn!

Your expiration date stays the same with a renewal. You also got a 15% discount if you renewed vs buying a brand new one. Nothing is different, other than the price you paid.

So, when I went to the Passholder Website, it wanted me to PURCHASE a renewal, which I already did. When I go to my tickets, it acknowledges that I have a renewal on hold.....I guess I will get this taken care of at the ticket window....unless it rectifies by itself.
