AP renewal question

I used the DVC discount on our AP's this year and got the $100.00 the reg. price. When I was on the DVC website, it said there was $75.00 off the renewal price of an AP. Does anyone know what that would be? And, how do I get a renewal on the website? THANKS!

According to AllEarsNet the AP pass renewal price is $298.20. Here is a (Link) with the prices. Not sure how to do it through the web site.

When I renewed my AP, I called MS. They took my name and phone # and said someome would call back. I did receive a call in 2 days, gave them my info, and about 10 days later, I had my AP renewal voucher! I don't think it can be done through the website.

You save $16 by buying a renewal rather than a new pass. Keep in mind that your renewal AP will have the same expiration date as your original AP, one year later. If you are not going to be at WDW right after your renewal date, you may want to wait and buy a new AP on your next trip so it will expire later. For example, my AP expired last year on 05/10/04. We had a trip that ended 05/07/04 and the next one was not until 12/04/04. So rather than renewing, I bought a new AP on 12/04/04, it will expire 12/04/05. If I would have renewed my pass last year, it would have expired 05/10/05. I have a trip planned for 11/26/05 to 12/02/05, so that my current AP will still be good.

Good advice DebbieB, we were just down there and almost renewed DW AP (expired Nov 04) instead of just getting a new one - not worth the $16 saved to renew in our case
