AP Renewal Question

Ok, not really sure what it meant but we just renewed our DD (5) AP on May 26th at DHS. When the cast member was looking it up, she got really excited that DD was a 'Charter' member. The only charter members I ever heard of were the original AP holders.

When entering a park, DW saw on the screen that it scanned as 'Charter' member. Anyone know what this is or how she got flagged that way. Is this a mistake or did I miss something along the way? We just bought DS(3) his first AP and nothing was mentioned about this.

Being only 5, it's impossible for her to be a Charter AP holder. To be a Charter AP holder, you had to purchase an AP when they were first made available and have renewed it each year.
