AP Renewal Price

I am just trying to get an idea of how much to put aside for our upcoming vacation. Last year I paid $99 to renew DH's AP but I think I remember reading somewhere on here that it now costs more than that. Can anyone help me out.

If you have the Preferred, it's $117.47...not sure about the change but it's $117 plus tax.

i paid $117.40 for my renewal last september.

it used to be $99 + tax until it was raised last march 08.

Be sure to renew no later than 30 days after your pass expires. I found out the hard way.

call and see and ask the tm if there are any promos now or coming up if you renew early.
Last year May was ap holder month and many perks were on then for ap holders.

my ap was not going to expire until october but 3 months were being added to the time period of the ap's for those renewing at the time i called.

i still had months left on my ap but did renew far in advance in order to get the extended months on my ap.

Thanks for that suggestion. DH's annual pass expires in May so before I renew it I think I will give them a call and ask that question. Thanks again!

Great deal for you . I am going to give them a call some time today when I get a chance.

One other question, when I renew does it just extend our current AP another year or does the new AP year start the day I renew it? Our AP expires in May. I always called and renewed the AP the month it was due to expire.

Say your AP expires May 1, 2009. If you got the 3 months free renewal, it'd expire August 1, 2010.

I wish the clock would reset the day you use it next. We usually renew in December, and then aren't back till April, so we lose 4-5 months. Your expiration date doesn't change (beyond any specials). Bummer! Good business, but bummer!

I called last month to find out my options for renewing. I was not told about this. I would have renewed.

We only go once a year but we always renew DHs AP just in case we do get to go again within the year. For only a bit more than the 7-day unlimited price it is worth it for discounts (both hotel & in the parks).
