I made a small dig at Disney on another thread a few days back about still waiting for our Premier Pass refund -- thought I would post some good $$ news as far as it relates to Disney. Received our cheques in the mail on Tuesday and much to my shock, they were WAY more than I had anticipated. I had calculated out what I thought they would refund based on each park being counted as separate vs when they reopened/didn't open. Long story short...our passes were activated Feb1st and we were only 'charged' for a month & half of use on the full amount; that means we were able to visit WDW 5x for 'free'. Thought we might have issues cashing the cheques (DH & I each have a USD savings account) but no issues at all and no holds by the bank -- think the fact that the Mouse himself was on the cheque impressed the bank! But of course any $$ we saved on this whole experience (I have been on the phone with Disney multiple times over the past year trying to figure out how refunds will work since our passes weren't activated yet in DL by the time the shut downs happened) was quickly spent this week on Very Merriest AH tix and Cirque du'Soleil tix both for our Dec trip!
