AP Rates w/Child AP

Will they accept a child AP to obtain the AP rates?

We still have adult PH's left, but our child is now over 3 so we need to buy her a ticket. I was hoping I could use our PH's for the 2days in Sept, but buy her the AP & get the discounted rate

Not anymore, at least with the best rate program. It has to be an adult AP with that same name on credit card when booking your room.

As for call in rates, well it is yet to be determined how many call in rates will be available and how the new procedure will work after this program has rolled out.

They are still allowing it for the call-ins, but if you intend to get the Disney Dining Experience card, you'll need an adult AP for that.

I did call in and get the AP rate for Sept (before best rate begins). They didn't even ask anything about a voucher # or anything (I haven't even bought them yet).

So I figure that I can hold off until early August to actually buy the AP.
