Two things I've noticed in the last 2 days!

I was toodling around on the AP section of disneyland.com, and noticed that they now have AP rates through the end of September!

Now through July 25, 2009

* Rates starting at $169*

From August 16 through September 30, 2009

* Rates starting at $129**

Those asterices lead to the restrictions on the page, of course, but I just wanted to give the basics for those who hadn't noticed. :)

Also, our photopass pics are expiring soon from DS's b'day trip, but it looks like we're doing a one day trip, while DS and I are visiting my brother, this weekend. So I was looking around on disneyphotopass.com, and noticed that they now have a "personal archive CD" (or something like that) where you can upload your OWN pictures, add various graphics, borders, etc, and then order a CD. It's 19.95 (plus shipping I assume).

The price for the normal photopass CD has not changed; still 59.95.

You must be a mind reader, Molly. I was JUST thinking yesterday and earlier today that I wanted to start checking the AP section of the website to see what the rates were like, but had not gotten around to it yet. That $129 (for PPH, clearly) looks mighty tempting. That means I could get in there just after the Halloween stuff goes up on 9/25 (weekdays, course) and get the hotel discount before it expires on the 30th, and before my AP expires. Hmmm.... (she says, as the Snowball rapidly picks up steam...)

Our photopass is about to expire to Molly, I was hoping to be able to add more pics to it for DD's bday in July but no, that's not happening. I need to figure out what I want to order before next Saturday....I don't want to pay $60 for a CD with hardly any photos on it but I want the ones from our BBB experience and the one we got with all of us in front of the castle at night.

I like that new PP product. When we did our WDW trip, I wanted to add the same borders to our photos as I had put on to the pics they took - and couldn't. I like it! :wizard:

Oh Yeah! I actually uploaded some pictures and added borders and then ordered prints because that was the only way to get pictures with borders, but I was not really certain of which sizes I wanted etc. I love the archive CD option!

$129 is a great rate! Hmm...

I noticed the September AP rates last week and when I went to look several dates were already filled. I was assuming it was already posted here and did not do so. Sorry guys!!:sad2:

Oh I hate that feeling! We only have two groups of pix on the current card...E's lousy BBB experience and something else...but I want to get it b/c I keep giving up buying the CDs b/c we get so few pictures! So I'm glad for this day trip, to add more.

I hope you can either work out a quick trip OR come to terms with the expense.

Well we are trying to do a quick trip, but it's the day the pass is supposed to expire so I don't think that would work. I'm going to have to buy the CD I think.

You should try contacting the photopass people and see if they will extend the deadline on your photos. I sent them an e-mail one time because I had PP pictures that were about to expire and I wanted to add more the next month. I can't remember if they extended it for 2 weeks or 4 weeks but they did give me some extra time. I think they are willing to help out with this type of thing as long as there isn't too much time between trips and as long as you don't do it all the time. It would be worth trying anyway. Maybe calling them instead of e-mailing would be better since that would be faster.
