AP rates released for Feb/March

Of course our vacation begins on MARCH 31!!!!! We are teachers, so we cannot leave early to get March 30.

Called last night to make my reservations and my total was $803 called back this afternoon and my new total is $500. I am staying at POP.

Our dates are Feb 16-19. My agent called to switch my rate and was told that the ap rates are blocked for those dates. I AM BUMMED!!

The DIS had the information first. When you sign into www.disboards.com there is a box at the top that has the latest information on Disney.

The discount is in the system. Call back and ask for another CM.

Hi!
Does anybody have a phone number for Dreams please?
Are they based in UK or US?

I dont want to miss out on a discount, but my contact is on holiday till the 9th

Thanks,
Lynn

Have you tried sending them an email. They always have someone covering for them when they are on vacation.

Hi!
I did this a couple of hours ago.No reply yet.I just dont want to miss out as I know they get booked quickly and Ive been waiting so patiently for so long!!!

Lynn ;)

I have an existing room only reserv. at Poly. I've run the numbers, and discovered that I'll actually save about $700 if I buy the AP and take the discount; so I've pretty much talked myself into it. I called WDW about half an hour ago, to change my ressie to the discounted rate. The CM I spoke to told me that they were having problems with their system and could I call back later this evening?!!??! :badpc:

We just heard back from TA that she would check tomorrow as Disney's computers are down. We sent in the rate request 4 hours ago... I wish she would have been able to check then. :confused3 I realize all Disney-specialized TAs were probably pretty busy today but we were hoping to move our 15-night ressie onsite. I'm afraid nothing that will work for us (needing a killer deal on 2 rooms or a suite) will still be available tomorrow. :sad1:

Hi, I searched and saw an old thread where someone had gotten an AP code applied right to their existing package reservation. Has anyone done this?

Am trying to do the math to see if buying the AP will be worth it, and I think its a close call b/c of the dining package value. We like to eat!

Got: YC water view: $3938 . . . . . .w/ AP $2905 (savings =$1033!!) :woohoo: The DIS is AWESOME!

Thanx in advance!!!

You can book the AP discounted rooms online through the passholder website now.

We got a FW cabin for $198/nte for March thanks to the AP rate!:cool1: :yay: :cool1:

FYI- Not much was available at the moderates when I called earlier

No, an AP discount can not be applied to a package. The AP discount is a room only discount, which does not include tickets nor the DDP. Maybe a discounted package will be released next. You could do ala cart, room and tickets, but can not add the DDP to a room only reservation.

I just hung up with Disney, the system was working (but no AP rates at the BC for 3/25-3/30)

Maybe she only works until 5? I would contact someone else!

Travel agents were notified that the Disney computer systems are down. If she can't get in neither can other travel agents.

We got standard room at WL for $218.25/nt including tax.

We tried for a standard room at 3:30 EST...they are gone for our dates. We did get a Wilderness View room...just 25.00 more- so still a great deal!

The rates on-line through the passholder site were the same as the ones I got from reservations using FCQ. I was on-line at the same time, and it showed her the exact same room selection and prices that I saw on-line.

You can click on the "Book You Stay" button from the Special Offers page and it will show you rates using the code. It also only let me pick dates that the code was good for.

The passholder site says these dates are blocked out - which would be my luck, but when I called with the code, they applied it with no trouble at POP, but said only preferred was available, still saved $67 off the AAA rate on standard, and now I don't have to walk as far.

Lady wouldn't take my room request though because she was arguing with me about which buildings were preferred and which were standard - don't you hate it when you know more than the phone reps do??

I called this morning and got AKL Savannah view for $269 plus tax - much better than the $400 plus tax I originally booked. Totally worth buying an AP, even though that was about $200 more than the 4 day park hopper I would have bought instead. :yay:

I am out of town and do not have my ap with me. Can someone please tell me the black out dates for the new codes? It is frustrating that I cannot log in.

Thanks
