Thank you so much for your help and quick response! Now I need to do the math to see if my Spring discount was cheaper or if this rate with the purchase of an AP is cheaper!

Dissappointed in this offer; staying at WL June 9 - 18 and have 30% off on first 6 nights, called last night and the discount would be the same as the general public one that I already have, was hoping for extended dates and/or 35/40%

Sorry to hear that some of you are getting deals that are equal to (or worse than ) the general public offer!

We were lucky that the AP rates worked in our favor. Previously, we were getting 25% off AKL and 30% off BC. Now we are getting 30% off Poly and 35% off AKL (Dates are Apr 20 - 24, and Apr 24 - 30).

It is frustrating to see so many not getting a better deal with the AP rate. I got super lucky, I snagged one of the few (or only) BC Deluxe CL rooms for 35% off. It saved me $400 over the current 30% off spring deal. There are only 6 of those rooms, so I'm guessing they only released one of them with the AP discount. So thankful I booked on the first day the discount was out. I went back in to check something right after I booked & the Deluxe CL room was gone.

No you don't have to have it at check-in, but you have to call to book, you can't do it online. You have to have the AP voucher in hand at check-in, or be able to come back & show the AP within 24 hours of check-in. That's according to reports on the DIS, not actual facts from Disney!

wow, the discounts are all over the place. I've never seen so many different quotes. I was looking at room rates for a stay prior to our cruise, so I was searching on April 20-22 (Fri/Sat). It was amazing that the same resort level had such a variety of prices. I got $95 a night for A/S Music, $100 a night for Pop and $120 a night for A/S Movies. The same for the moderates...I got a much lower price at Caribbean Resort vs Coronado Resort. So anyone out there looking for the AP discount, make sure you check all the resorts in the level you are booking because while you might have your heart set on one resort, your pocketbook might like another one much better. It helps having access to the passholder website for this type of research and comparison. I decided the prices are still too high, so I'll be using my DVC points instead.
