AP RATES out for MARCH 9 - JUN 14

Well, I am one disappointed and irritated Disney freak. In about 8 years of frequent Disney trips, this is the first time I have not been able to get an AP rate at POFQ. Kinda sad that the public spring rate is as good or better than the AP rate. Not feeling the love!!

I agree! I booked three bouncebacks for 2012 when I was there Nov/Dec. POFQ was not available for my dates under the bounceback deal, so I went with CSR, intending to switch to POFQ when the AP discounts came out. The AP discounts also usually beat the bouncebacks by about 5% (35% off instead of 30% off). I just checked and the price for CSR for that week is exactly what I have right now with the bounceback, ($1051.33--$143.50 and $129.50/night). A garden view at PORS is just a tad higher at $1245.00 and a standard room at CBR is just a tad cheaper $1024.00 for the same seven nights. POFQ is rack rate at $1389.00.

What's bad is I also have bounceback deals for my Sept and Oct/Nov trips and am hoping for an AP discount to beat them. Looks like I'll be sticking with the bounceback deals.

Hi Everyone,
I'm not an annual passholder yet, but I'll become one if I can save more than the cost of the annual pass on my reservation. Here's the problem ... when I call CRO, they quote me a discounted rate for Sunday through Thursday, but regular rate for Friday and Saturday. What's going on? As it turns out, my stay is cheaper with the 20% off general public code (for every day of the week) than with the 30% off passholder discount during the week and regular rate on the weekend. I asked the reservationist about the weekends and she said that was what her computer was telling her and that as far as she knew, the weekends were pricing at regular rate. Is this right, is the annual passholder discount not available on weekends?

must depend on your resort and dates. If you post them here (plus # of adults, children etc) I will check them for you and see.

Been waiting for this to see if the rate we booked under the bounceback will be better than the passholder rate. Will go check and see...

Thanks for posting!

This offer is exactly the same as the public offer for the WL that I booked months ago.

If Disney isn't going to give AP holders any better rates, they could at least release them before the general public offers.

I just called about our existing WL reservation for May 16-25 and I was quoted EXACTLY the same as well. I am really disappointed!

Just completely changed our upcoming April trip :lmao:

Originally we were staying 5 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Club Level and 5 nights at Beach Club - Club Level

TOTAL $4590

Now, we are staying 4 nights at the Polynesian - Club Level and 6 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Club Level

TOTAL $3850

So we are saving $740, getting to stay at our favorite resort AND trying a new resort :goodvibes

It looks like Easter week is not included, right? I let my AP expire in November, so I can't double check for myself.

Time permitting, would someone please check to see whether any AP discounts are available for March 30 through April 7? Right now we're at Pop Century with one day of a general public discount. If an AP discount is decent, I'd like to either apply it to Pop Century or move to BW or BC for our vacation.

Thanks for any help!

Guys, I am really a newbie when it comes to an AP. I am trying to figure out if it is worth buying one. If somebody can check any value resort (whichever is the cheapest per y'alls discount), and POR for 8 nights begining May 5th...

I would really appreciate it. All this WDW math makes my head hurt.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Can someone also tell me, if I have an AP, can I buy other tickets at a discount or no? I have been finding conflicting info on this?:confused3

Thanks so much!

Was anyone else planning to go during Easter week? We were.....but AP's are blacked out so we might look for a different vacation destination. Even though it's peak time, our resorts of choice are wide open with availability in every single type of room. Must be a lot of people are staying off-site. Or maybe people wait to book at the last minute at full price.

Cinderumbrella,
Thanks for checking this for me. My dates are May 5 through May 13, Grand Floridian RPC Standard Room or RPC deluxe room or Sugar Loaf. Three adults.

Thank you Cinderumbrella. I'd save a grand total of $16 to book those first two nights at an AP discount; not worth it to purchase an AP this year. Last year at the beginning of April, I got an AP discount -- but Easter was later last year. Oh, well. Again, thank you for checking. I certainly appreciate it.

You're welcome!! I am paying it forward today on behalf of all the people who helped me last fall when my AP had lapsed and I couldn't check!

I booked our June trip at POR last night with my 25% off and my weekends came up as rack rate. We are staying June 4-16. Discounts all nights except June 8, 9, 15 (15th was expected as discount ends 6/14). After everything, I saved an entire $4. The only plus was adding the dining plan without having to buy any tickets.

That is surprising. My dates are similar to yours but we are staying YC and all 9 nights were discounted (including June 8,9). Perhaps they really are phasing out the summer discounts :guilty:

Thank you Thank you Thank you! Sorry I didnt specify how many, I didnt know that made a difference in price. I am so thankful y'all did that for me. :worship::worship::worship::worship::worship::worship:

I called first thing this morning to try and change our June dates (split stay POR & BC) from Spring Offer to AP discounts. I was very, very disappointed to hear that there is nothing left in the same category! The rooms she offered us were going to cost us MORE. :headache:

We are really upset about this. One of the things we were really hoping for were the AP discounts. To call *right after* we find out about them and have them try and "upgrade" us to a room that would cost more is outrageous. It feels like we're being nickle and dimed with the ridiculous "river view" rooms at POR (please, it's a motel - there is no "river view" from the room!) and it is just an excuse to make you pay extra for a room that is exactly the same as the next one over.

We're looking at Bonnet Creek now. I am a Disney freak, but this has me seeing red.

When you have a moment, could you check AP rates for the BC Waterview for four on May 5 -13? Thank you!!:flower3:
