AP rates in October or Nov?

Has anyone heard anything about any AP rates coming up in October or November, how long in advance would we hear about them?

Call central reservations and they may be able to tell you if there are any as of now. I called about September rates a month ago and they did have some (but they were for premium views so it didn't really save money).

I realize these are discounted rates for AP holders - what I don't know is when they are available - is it anytime the hotels are not filled by a certain date? or specific times of the year (like low season?) - TIA
