Ap rates from IRELAND - help please

I have been watching with interest the AP rates released today and how long people are on hold to get through to a CM - our plans are already finalised for this year but we are staying in a villa next year for 3 weeks and want to get at least 4 nights on site at the end of this.

Having never stayed on-site before I can't decide between ALK or the Polly - we would love to stay concierge but this depends on getting a good AP rate at the time (3 and a half weeks in Florida can work out quite expensive from Ireland )

We could be flexible about location but not dates so I guess it would be better to speak to a CM to see what's the best deal is once the rates have been released rather than book through a travel agent

I am wondering about getting through to CRO from Ireland - if I am on hold for a long time it is going to be a very expensive call - any ideas for me or it is just a case of taking my chances and hoping I can get through quickly??

GENERALLY, calling CRO in the evenings it is not as busy. That also should coincide with off-peak times in Ireland, but will likely mean calling at a really odd hour for you!

I was on hold for about ten minutes waiting for a CM. Hopefully you won't have a terribly long wait and once you explain your situation they will move more quickly to get your reservation handled. You can't go wrong with either AKL or the Polynesian. With such a long visit you might even want to split your stay between the two, or stay wherever you can get the best rate.

DD's boyfriend lives in Ireland and talk on the phone every night for at least an hour-they use prepaid phone cards-works pretty good.
