Since they haven't come out with the AP rates yet for Septmeber 2006, I wanted to try a little comparison shopping. For those of you who used BR (or whatever they were using at the time) to get an AP discount around 9/3-9/7 for Deluxe resorts, what did you pay and how early before your trip did you get the discount?

Thanks a bunch!! :Pinkbounc

I didn't book a deluxe but a value (AS-Movies) & it was $59, booked it in June... I know that you were looking for the deluxe rates but hope this gives you a start... :goodvibes

The AP discounts for this past September were....

Annual Passholder August-October 2005 Room-Only Discount Code

WDW Annual Passholders can ask for Code EXI and get special discounted rates at select Walt Disney World resorts for check-ins 8/28/05-10/4/05. The code gives you a flat discount off the rack rates: $18 off Value resorts, $45 off Moderate resorts and $70 off Deluxe and Home-Away-From-Home resorts. Some sample rates:

Value Resorts (All Stars and Pop Century) - $59 standard
Moderate Resorts - $89 standard, $104 preferred view/King
Animal Kingdom Lodge - $129 standard, $210 savannah view
Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club - $224 standard
Polynesian - $234 garden view
Other resorts, room types and views are available at varying prices!

I Hope This Helps! :flower:

Wow 234 Poly! I hope its that good for 2006!
*seriously considering joining the AP bandwagon, even if I'd only use it for 2 trips in 365 days.
One more question, can people "borrow" other people's annual passes? Like if I buy one for my mom, and another trip my DBf wants to take a trip, would he be able to use my DM's AP?

Annual Passes cannot be used by anyone other than who originally activated it. They use the biometric scans to authenticate the passholder....

For Jan & Feb of 2006, the Best Rate discount is $70 off per night.....Nobody really knows if that will change or not.
