AP rates for Labor Day weekend

Hello all

Any kind Diser willing to look at AP rates for me for Friday, August 31 - Monday, September 3rd? Specifically the Poly, standard, but would take any other view. Also would be interested in any monorail resort.

We let our AP go in May, but added a trip in at Labor Day unexpectedly. Wondering if just activating again is the way to go.

They have all of the room categories available except standard view. The next cheapest is pool/marina view for a total of $1,597.26 for your dates.

The Contemporary has a garden wing and a main building lake view room for $1,670.64 each. The GF only has something really expensive available.

No Standard View at Poly available for your dates, only Pool/Marina. Contemporary is higher. Even if you don't have the AP, they will quote AP rates and check availability for you on the phone. Being Labor Day weekend, the resorts are pretty much booked, at least for Standard View.

If you tell them you will be buying AP, they will quote AP rates. The resort will make sure you have an AP, or you will be charged rack rate.

Any other trips you have planned within a one year period from AP purchase, will probably make the pass a good choice. If you don't have any thought of returning within a year, it will probably not be worth the extra expense.

Of course, for resort AP rates and restaurant/merchandise discounts, only one in your party will need the AP to take advantage of the discounts.

We have a longer trip planned for December, so likely it would make sense. We were only supposed to go for December 2018 to activate our AP hopefully capturing Star Wars Land next year within our AP year.

We all know that is hard to predict if that would work, but that was our initial thought. Now, with this surprise trip with 4 day tickets added, why not just upgrade now, and worry about Star Wars Land when we know more details?

This is what we're doing. We might as well do the AP now then we'll make the call on Star Wars next year. I don't think I'll want to attempt Star Wars in November or December next year anyways with how crazy the crowds will be.
