My sister is looking to see what the AP rates for the cabins are. Anyone here have any clue? I saw the rate for Feb was $144. She is trying to prove to a friend of hers that there ARE AP discounts for the cabins. :teeth: This man has had the annual passes for years and insists that there are never discounts for the cabins. :confused3 WE all know better than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Her friend is wrong. :flower: I stayed in the cabins in January of 2004 on an AP rate. Before taxes our AP rate was $139/night. This was a VAlue Season stay.

You may feel free to quote me. :teeth:

Would anyone know if there have any been any codes specifically for the month of March?? Now he insists that there have not been codes for the cabins for that time of year!! :badpc:

I don't know about March, but I called yesterday and got an AP rate of $170 per night for the 2nd week in June. Seemed like a deal to me after looking at rack rates on the website

Now, I'm just a bit worried about the cabin it'self. An earlier thread referred to them as "trailers" They looked really nice on the website (doesn't everything  ). Now, I have visions of a trailer park.. We chose FW for the wide open spaces. DH gets a bit crowd weary and I felt like it would make a good retreat for him. DD and I consider Motel 6 camping :scared1: so I'm worried it will be too remote for us...

Opinions?

Code BEX is good for annual passholders until April. Check Mousesavers.com. I stayed in the cabins last month a $164.00 (with tax) a night using that code.

The cabins are probably indeed 'trailers' but the atmosphere is about as far from trailer park as you could get. There is space between each cabin, at least a driveway's width, it's beautifully landscaped, and there is a nice sized deck. It is certainly less crowded than a standard hotel room. I think they are a great escape, especially for someone 'crowd weary' (great turn of phrase by the way) like your DH.

I called on Wednesday to check on my AKL ressies, and was offered Ft Wilderness cabin for $159 a night for 4/30-5/7. I must have had a pin attached to my name. Unfortunately, we are staying at AKL and couldn't use the code there. But maybe someone else can benefit from the information. :flower:

Just returned from out first stay at the cabins. I have to admit that at first (meaning the 1st day!) I felt a bit "homesick"....not being in the middle of the action. Well, let me tell you that by day 2....I was in heaven!! It was SOOOO nice to come "home" at the end of the day...and I mean HOME!! Seperate bedroom for the tired kids, kitchen to cook, grill ouside along with the picnic table on the deck, a nice living area to stretch out and OH THE QUITE!!! LOL Let me just say the Dh likes WDW but does not LOVE it like myself......he is actually looking forward to our next WDW vacation.....that in itself speaks a 1,000 words!!

We have stayed many, many times in the cabins. We have never paid more than $144+tax.
