AP rates...do rooms go fast?

Checked mousesavers and it seems to make sense for us to buy and AP and use that to get a discounted room rate for Nov. 2003 stay.

Question is are these rates usually available or do they sell out the second they are published???

They usually go pretty quickly- they get picked over right away.

However, you can book the AP rate without one- just as long as you pick one up before you check in.

I think I have an unusual case but I just got 2 All Star rooms on Fri. for Nov 14 - Nov.24 with the AP code. We had a choice of Sports or Music. If you can get the AP rate you can buy the AP later so just call when you know your dates.

I just called last week for AP rates for my sister's room, for the Dates Oct 20- Oct 26, at All Stars Music.

I think it depends a lot on what you are trying to get. "Standard View" rooms at AKL and WL go pretty fast, because there are only a limited number of such rooms. I just got AP rate for AKL savannah view in early Dec about 10 days ago; but then the vast majority of AKL rooms are savannah view.

Don't forget that these rates are offered in an attempt to increase occupancy at a time of low occupancy. That won't work unless a substantial number of rooms are available under these rates!
